Our Equine-Facilitated Growth and Learning programs foster connection, resilience, and personal growth through experiential learning and exploration with horses. In partnership with community partners and individuals, we co-create meaningful equine-facilitated learning & nature based experiences that inspire healing, self-discovery, authentic connection, and lifelong growth.

Our approach is built on the belief that meaningful relationships create opportunities for healing, growth, and learning. Every program is a partnership between our herd, the participant, and an equine facilitator, with each bringing something valuable to the experience.

We see our horses as willing partners—not tools—and honor their ability to choose, communicate, and connect. Through guided, ground-based experiences, participants develop greater self-awareness, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and discover practical skills they can carry into everyday life. At the heart of every interaction are connection, respect, choice, and trust.

Experiential Growth Rooted in Connection

Why Horses?

As prey animals, horses are constantly aware of everything—and everyone—in their environment. This heightened state gives them a remarkable sense of attunement, allowing them to perceive authentic human feelings and experiences, even those we ourselves may not consciously recognize. Their endless awareness invites the people around them to become more present, mindful, and self-aware in turn. Horses are also inherently genuine and authentic, offering honest feedback based on their interactions with others, without judgment or pretense—they simply accept us as we are.

Working with horses naturally brings clear boundaries into focus and creates opportunities to examine our patterns of communication, both verbal and nonverbal. Trust and respect become essential elements of the relationship. As social animals themselves, horses also offer rich opportunities to learn about our own "herd" dynamics—our relational patterns and the roles we tend to take on. Beyond the emotional and relational, horses have a measurable impact on our physiology: research has shown that being in their presence changes human brainwave patterns and can help regulate the nervous system.
